Interview - Y-Incision

1.Putrid greetings of Perú,Mike! How going the things in Y-Incision?
Hello, Diego! Things are going pretty good! Just released our split with our brothers in Rimjob, entitled "Split Your Dick". We've been getting a good response from it. We've been staying busy with shows here and there as well as writing new stuff and are looking to do another recording in the coming months.

2.Tell us how is form this aberrant band of gruesome death grind gore called Y-Incision? Hows been the begings?
Well, I, Michaelous Rage, had a desire to start a Grind band one day so I posted on Facebook my desire to do so and if any musicians would be interested in starting one. I made it clear from the get go that I just wanted to do vocals and be a lead man free of playing an instrument so I can do all the crazy shit I do on and off stage. I figured this would hinder the success of putting together a band in our small scene that lacks a quantity of decent musicians to choose from but it is what I believed in doing. It didn't take long for me to meet up with a strapping young guitarist, who currently goes by the name Big Gay Tony, but the right drummer was pretty elusive. After a few months, Big Gay, suggested a friend of his who's band recently disbanded. Thus enter Chimmy Chonga. We clicked as a unit right away and boom! Y-Incision was born.

3.Discography of Y-Incision?
Besides a few crappy demos, our full-length "Disasturbator" and the brand new "Split Your Dick" are our official recordings.

4.Influences at Y-Incision?
Oh boy, that's a tough one, there are so many... I guess what has mainly influenced Y-Incision's sound and concept: Napalm Death, Pig Destroyer, Last Days of Humanity, Municipal Waste, Minor Threat, Iggy and The Stooges, The Cramps and our sisters in Rimjob have definitely had an influence on us. Of course this list is just my opinion. I'm sure Big Gay and Chimmy would give you an entirely different list.

5.Some members of Y-Incision have another proyect paralell?
Currently, Y-Incision is the only project all of us have.

6.Mike explain some more about the actual death grind gore scene from your city and recommend some bands.
Ha, oh man, unfortunately we are pretty much the only thing nearing the Goregrind/Pornogrind genre around the Omaha/Lincoln Nebraska area. As far as bands around here to check out, I'd say: Garoted, Vickers, Carnographer, Oppress the Tyrant, Agrinex, Truth in Ruin and, of course, Rimjob.

7.Y-Incision knows the death grind gore scene of Southamerica?
Actually sorry, Diego, I know very little of the scene down in South America. Give me some crazy shit I need to hear please!

8.Stuff avaliable of Y-Incision at the moment? where the maniacs can find the stuff?
Besides catching a live show, this is the place to get Y-Incision stuff.

9.Morbid future plans?
Plans as of right now? Well, I just got done putting a Press Kit together a couple days ago. Hopefully we get some label attention when we send that off. Besides that, just writing some more songs for another recording soon and hopefully setting up a string of shows with Rimjob soon to promote our split.

10.Last words Mike and thanks for your time in this interview.
Well, thank you for the interview, David! And our Bandcamp is free to stream so if the curiosity of any of you readers was sparked, go there to checkout our tunes. Later guys!
