Entrevista - Mixomatosis

1.Gangrenosos saludos desde Perú Marc,todo infernal y brutal por allí? 
Hola diego,  a full como siempre en todo, trabajando, familia las bandas … lo habitual en la vida cotidiana o no jajjajjajaja espero con tierras Peruanas ande todo bien.

2.Mixomatosis es una banda de grind/gore con un largo recorrido en la escena extrema,cuéntanos como se de-forma esta lujuriosa banda de ruido?
La banda se formó sobre el 89, pero no teníamos instrumentos para tocar ni dinero éramos muy jóvenes, el tema Problema sicofísico se realizó ese año (y fue grabado oficialmente 10 años después), junto con otro tema que nunca más se tocó, estos dos temas los realizo nuestro guitarra y uno de los fundadores de la banda y los ensayábamos es la habitación de su casa con guitarra española y gritando yo allí (Picnic of Grind), sus padres nos decían que estábamos locos jajjajajjajajajaj oficialmente la banda fue en 1990 cuando ya se empieza a ensayar en locales y a tener instrumentos para poder ir haciendo temas y hasta en 1992 no se grabó la primera demo (que no fue editada hasta 13,14 años después por mi pequeño sello Infeccio underground prods, en formato Cd limitado a 50 copias ya que reformaron todos los temas de los inicios y no se tocaron como esa grabación más) y se empezó a realizar algún que otro concierto y a ensayar más a menudo y terminando de comprarnos los que nos faltaban instrumentos, en febrero de 1994 se graba y se edita meses después la demo cassete  “hacia la destrucción” siendo el primer trabajo que sale a la luz por la banda, a partir de aquí ya hay muchos cambios de formación y se va superando los baches poco a poco, y se editan varios splits con directos, en cdr , cassetes, videos en directo y rehearsals en un  VHS oficial, se graba para un ep Split con neurophatia y la demo de 1999, y luego ya nuestro primer álbum en estudio “bienvenidos al mundo del terror” ya seguidamente una larga y extensa de grabaciones y splits en todos los formatos hasta el día de hoy, hemos salido de giras por europa y tocado en muchos festivales europeos y ahora seguimos con nueva formación, despúes de unos baches con line up y personales.

3.Actualmente Mixomatosis cuanto material ha editado?
Pues tenemos editado bastante material si te lo nombro todo te faltará espacio para añadirlo, pero hacemos un resumen, desde las primeras demos en cassete y cdr, se han sacado muchos splits en todos los formatos cassete, cd, cd-r, vinilo, también tenemos un VHS oficial y un DVD oficial a parte de algún que otro pro dvd-r de algún festival DIY que se grabó y se edito, se han sacado full grind cds y eps completos de la banda también podeis mirar por las redes sociales y veréis lo que tenemos por hay…

4.Bastardas influencias en Mixomatosis?
Pues las influencias a mi personalmente algunas a nombrar para no hacer una lista inmensa pues: Anal Cunt, Napalm Death, Carcass, GUT, Fear of god, violent headache….. aunque muchísimas más, pero estas son las pioneras en esos momentos y que terminaron de descuartizarnos para impulsar a hacer ruido nosotros también… aunque en la banda ha pasado mucha gente y no todos han sido del grind…..

5.En que te basas para descomponer las repugnantes letras de Mixomatosis?
Las letras títulos y demás descomposiciones todas (la gran mayoría) que son las que he hecho yo menos dos o tres temas, todo habla de cómo está el mundo, de cómo nos trata la vida en general, la putas guerras, políticos corruptos, asesinatos, suicidios, enfermedades…..
No es sólo una letra si no una narración de lo que pasa a diario en cada esquina o rincón de este mundo, de cómo nos afecta o simplemente explicando algo que no tenía que haber sucedido pero allí está…. También muchos casos personales están narrados en nuestras letras…..

6.Cuéntanos un poco acerca de la escena grind/gore antigua de tu país Marc.Que bandas podíamos encontrar en esos años de putrefacción,cuales eran los zines que habían,festivales,etc.
 Aquí en los años 90 principios había muchas bandas de grindcore algunas de gore grind, y también de noisecore, entre ellas Violent headache, psicothyc noise, el kaso urkijo, haemorrhage, FETO, OÑA, Brutal noise, Noiseabundos, audiorrea, sabbata rotta, A.T.S, Genital Masticator, … y cientos más….
Festivales pocos en esos momentos el único de grindcore/noise que hizo varios años fue el MONSTERS OF ROT 3 y algún que otro festi que se montó con la gira en el 94 de anal cunt y poco más era más hacer conciertos en pubs, gallineros o en cualquier sitio que se pudiera tocar pero casi cada fin de semana había algún sarao de ruido en algún rincón.
De zine teníamos muchos aquí en esa época mucho diy en lectura y en bandas una escena underground buena y de la mejor en esos tiempos y muy satisfecho de haber podido vivirla y seguir con la misma hasta ahora…
7.Como ves actualmente la escena extrema alrededor del mundo?
Ahora hay muchas bandas también en el mundo y muy buenas y como todo se a evolucionado unos más que otros a mi me sigue gustando mucho la vieja escuela aunque también tengo bandas actuales estilos distintos a la época, sin dejar la esencia de siempre…. También al tener más medios que antes se pueden hacer más cosas y más rápido y eso también es bueno y se tiene que aprovechar del momento.

8.Algún miembro de Mixomatosis tiene algún proyecto paralelo? banda,sello,zine?
Si, todos estamos en más mierdas actualmente nuestro batería toca en 2 bandas más una de grindcore human scrap y otra de goregrind vaginal kebab,  y en directo a la batería con SANG de noisecore a parte tiene un micro sello, monta algún que otro concierto, el guitarra tiene un estudio de grabación, y toca en varias bandas más, Pornocaust, vaginal kebab, pro-septico……. Y nuestro bajista que por el momento a dejado de tocar por problemas en las muñecas, tocaba en 8,9 bandas (esperemos se recupere y continúe tocando en las medidas que le permitan) tiene sello Base record, monta conciertos, festivales underground…
Y yo toco en varias bandas también entre ellas, pornocaust, ments manipulades, sang, mundo mutante, scuzz, scummy, vomits, moshturbación…. Tengo mi micro label Infeccio underground prods y he ido montando conciertos y algún que otro diy festival , y colaborado en varios zines y web zines….

9.Conocen la escena extrema de Sudamérica? tal vez Perú?
Si tenemos contactos en el Perú en varios zines bandas una ahora tu zine y en toda sudamericana conocemos muchas bandas y mucha escena se han compartido splits se a tocado en directo con bandas sudamericanas  y se ha ayudado a montar conciertos cuando pasan por aquí o en la ciudad de algún compañero.

10.Mórbidos futuros planes en Mixomatosis?
Ahora mismo en fábrica nuestro próximo vinylo 7”ep Split con Kadaverfiker, mutilated judge, el muermo, lo editamos entre nuestros sellos.
Algunos planes esperemos se hagan: Split 7”ep con Cum Sock, otra banda sudamericana que ahora no me acuerdo lo lleva el bajista y en formato 7”ep también, un 3 way Split 4”lathe cut con kadaverfiker y yacopsae, y pendiente otro DVD que se nos quedó en el tintero.

Interview - Controlled Existence

1.Chaotic greetings from Peru Luba! what news in Controlled Existence?
Hola! Como estas? :) Cheers from cold Prague, autumn has begun, brrr. News? We arrived from our Balkans tour three weeks ago! We had a really great time with our grindcore brothers ALEA IACTA EST from Slovakia. It was such a good tour crossing countries like Hungary, Bulgaria, Greece, Macedonia and Serbia, we enjoyed it a lot. We are also waiting for our new split 7 inch release with australian band Headless Death which will be hopefully out until the end of this year. So stoked!!! :) I hope also Tribute to Warsore compilation will be out soon as we are having one song on that record. And of course I should start planning 2017 tour ;)

2.Controlled Existece how be form? is the idea from another proyects?
We formed CE almost 6 years ago, it was in the beginning of the year 2011. Our drummer Zubár and guitarist Gifo started to play together and they asked me to sing in this “fastcore grind project”. Later we had also male vocalist Alex and after some time our bass-guitarist Méďa joined us. With exception of Alex’s leaving you can see the band Controlled Existence in this ,,staff´´. Guys are having also other bands but CxEx was founded as a ''normal'' band, not as a project.

4.Destructive influences?
Life, haha.

5.The lyrics talks about?
All the lyrics are written by me, so they are quite depressing and they are mostly connected with my feelings, relationships, crazy thoughts, depression, suffering. Also the world situation themes are included as well as the animal rights.

6.Some member from Controlled Existence have another proyect? band,label,zine maybe?
Yep, currently there are also other projects of our drummer and bass-guitarist. Zubár and Méďa, they have a new death metal band Lack of Sun. Zubár plays guitar there and he plays also drums in a new grindcore project with guys from Lycanthrophy and Needful Things. However, I don´t want to tell more than is known, haha. Méďa played for a really long time in emo hardcore punk band Palahniuk which broke up last year and he has also crust band Sebestřet and he plays contrabass in a band called Gamblers - Johny Cash covers. There were several offers to sing in other bands but I am totally content and maximally busy with Controlled, my work and all my other activities(organising gigs, booking tours, drawing, painting, tattooing, writting, travelling, my lovely doggie, french learning and updates of all my blogs and websites - art, band, vegan meal).

7.How is the grindcore scene in your city? recommend some bands please.
There is no big grindcore scene if we take into consideration grindcore/extreme hc/powerviolence/fastcore music. There are some deathgrind, metalgrind, goregrind bands around(not our favourite style, so I really wouldn´t list those bands) but we are having also some nice newer bands which are very good, for example Flummox or Mečem Naplocho.

8.You know some from the extreme scene from southamerica? maybe Peru?
I know many people from South America and also some southamerican bands, for example Chulo, Cätärro, Into Sickness, etc.

9.Which it has been the most brutal concert or festival for you?
Wow, hard question cause we had so many good concerts but those which are strongly remembered are Play fast 2013, gig in Drustveni Centar in Novi Sad(Serbia), Grindhouse in Sofia(Bulgaria), gig in Sarajevo, Kuzeb squat in Switzerland, Rodez(France) and many more :)

10.Catastrofic plans for the future in Controlled Existence?
Haha, no big plans, I hope some new records and the most important for me is playing, travelling and meeting nice people during our gigs and touring :)
