1.Fast and furious greetings of Perú,Angelo! How going the things at Brain Tourniquet?
Things are good with Brain Tourniquet our 7” just came out yesterday and our first show is on Sunday in DC with Arms Race!
2.Hows been the begings at Brain Tourniquet?
Brain Tourniquet started really before I was actually in it, Robin who plays bass and Connor who fronts had planned on doing this band for a while I think and they had already wrote a few songs each for it when they asked me to drum for it. They are both a few years older than me and have been in a bunch of bands together, they had seen me drum in some of my other bands like Needle and also we knew eachother from the DC punk scene already. We practiced a few times with Connor playing guitar and then decided my friend Ronald should play guitar cus he already plays in Needle too and is really good. That’s basically how it started!
3.Noisy discography of Brain Tourniquet?
Our whole discography so far is just the 7” that released yesterday, we’ve only been a band since the winter time
4.Influences of impalement at Brain Tourniquet?
Our biggest influences are probably No Comment and Crossed Out, also Infest and other classic powerviolence of course. Plus a little Black Flag too.
5.Some members of Brain Tourniquet have another proyect paralell?
The guitarist and I are in a grindcore band called Needle, Robin and Connor are both in a bunch of other bands, Connor drums for Genocide Pact and Red Death and fronts Protester, Robin was the drummer for Pure Disgust and is in a band called Truth Cult and Guilt Parade now. I’m in a few other bands too besides Needle, a d-beat band called Corvo, a punk band called CDR and a new band that i front called Ztuped
6.Angelo explain some more about actual grindcore powerviolence scene from your city and recommend some bands.
The grindcore and powerviolence scene is pretty cool, we have a few really good bands from here like Coke Bust, DOC, Magrudergrind too but they are around anymore. Besides my bands there’s a band called Tomb Warden that’s sick as fuck, another grind band that’s blowing up right now No Más are my friends in DC
7.Brain Tourniquet knows grindcore powerviolence scene of Southamerica?
I’m sure robin and Connor and Ronald all know more about South American powerviolence, Ronald our guitarist actually is South American he’s Bolivian. I personally don’t really know any South American powerviolence to be honest which is a shame
8.Stuff avaliable of Brain Tourniquet at the moment? where noisy maniacs can find the stuff?
Right now our 7”s will be available through Painkiller Records, and you can buy it online and download on bandcamp
9.Morbid future plans at Brain Tourniquet?
Our future plans are just to do another record, which will be out probably next year, and tour a little bit around in the US and play a lot of shows in our hometown of DC

Last words hmm well thanks for listening to my band!
Thanks for the interview!
1.Infamous and putrid greetings of Perú,Søren! How going the morbid things at Chaotian?
Goresoaked salutations from Killtown, David! Things are a bit slow these days, we are all spread out over the summer - but soon we'll get back to the rehearsal room and get ready for KTDF!
2.Hows been the begings at Chaotian? As was the bestial deformation of Chaotian?
We started out just Andreas and I, looking to play death/thrash more in the vein of Demolition Hammer, Morbid Saint and Sadus etc. We wrote a song and did some covers, but shortly after Jonas Grønborg entered the band we all pretty much agreed the Kill-town Death Metal style was what we wanted to play. Everything from there on has been the corruption of our local scene - it's been wild!
3.Aberrant discography of Chaotian?
So far, we only have two demos to our name 'Where Gods Excarnate' and 'Festering Carcinolith'.
4.Deadly influences at Chaotian?
Immolation, Incantation, Undergang, Demilich, Autopsy, Nile, Phrenelith, Blood Incantation, Pissgrave, Morbid Angel, Infester, Cruciamentum and many, many more have all meant a lot to us. We draw from a fuck ton of bands, as long as we can make it fit in our idea of death metal!
5.Some members of Chaotian have another proyect paralell?
Not really, I have a black metal project with my brother called Lindorm, and Andreas is cooking up some black metal too. Apart from that, I don't think we have much.
6.Søren explain some more about actual rotten death metal scene from your city and recommend some bands.
Kill-town Death Metal barely needs explaining, it's rotten, filthy death in the old vein. Every band is as poser crushing and relentless as the next.
7.Chaotian knows rotten death metal scene of Southamerica?
Mortem and Mutilator for sure, Sarcofago and early Sepultura too. I know of Anal Vomit too, but haven't gotten too deep into their stuff sadly! Need to look out for some more SA death.
8.Stuff avaliable of Chaotian at the moment? where death metal maniacs can find the stuff?
We currently have our newest demo available for purchase on tape, but not the first demo (Where Gods Excarnate) as it's all sold out from our side!
9.Gruesome future plans at Chaotian?
Kill-town Death Fest, and then it's all about our debut album!
10.Last words Søren and thanks for your time in this interview! Keep infernal!
Stay sick, support the local scene and crush!!! Thank you Diego, keep it vile!

1.Visceral greetings of Perú,Month! How going the things at Maggot Bath?
Good mate, we have been playing shows and writing new material - while drinking heaps of booze and burning shit.
2.Hows been the begings of Maggot Bath?
Maggot Bath started when members of She Beast & The High Drifters got together and decided to jam. I (Ben) did vocals at first but because that interupted with my ability to drink continuously, so we recruited Linc (for vocals), who I played in a band with in Mindrippa.
3.Noisy discography of Maggot Bath?
Yeah Vorax records contacted us and said they wanted to put out all our recorded material at that time (circa Feb 2018), we were happy to do it as that was the only label at that point which was willing to put out our stuff.
4.Catastrofic influences at Maggot Bath?
Powerviolence & Crust influences mixed with Sludge influences. i.e. Spazz, Charles Bronson, Doom, Grief, Eyehategod, Meth Drinker
5.Some members of Maggot Bath have another proyect paralell?
Yeah we are all in other bands, Religious Observance (Sludge/ Doom), Creep Diets (Sludge/ Punk), The High Drifters (Sludge/ Stoner), She Beast (Sludge/ Doom), Mindrippa (Grind), Endless Bore (Hardcore punk)
6.Month explain some more about actual grindcore powerviolence scene from your city and recommend some bands.
Melbourne has a very good grindcore/ powerviolence scene. Recommendations are: Internal Rot, Pissbolt, Sanctioned, Empty Gesture, Spew Balloon, Somatized, Abu Ghraib.
7.Maggot Bath knows grindcore powerviolence scene of Southamerica?
I am fairly ignorant of South American grind or PV bands but I do really like Chulo
8.Stuff avaliable of Maggot Bath at the moment? where grind maniacs can find the stuff?
You can find our stuff on bandcamp:
https://maggotbath.bandcamp.com/
and to a lesser degree Facebook:

9.Gruesome future plans?

1.Brutal and putrid greetings of Perú,mate! How going the things in Skullcrush?
Things have been going well, we just finished recording our new record back in May, we are looking forward to sharing it with the world.
2.Tell us how is form this raw band of morbid and filthy death metal called Skullcrush? Hows been the beginnings?
Skullcrush wasn’t initially created as anything, I had a few riffs that started morphing into songs for a solo project but was unsure of how to structure them without hearing the drums. I had connected with Grand Marshall of Hell in the fall of 2017 to hear my riffs with drums and we just decided to piece together these songs, which in turn prompted the formation of the band.
3.Noisy discography of Skullcrush?
Currently we have one EP, “Visions of the Firestorm Eclipse”, that was released in July of 2018, and a single titled “The Burning Wheel” that was released in October of the same year.
4.Bloody influences at Skullcrush?
Every one of us is influenced by a wide variety of bands that span different subgenera of metal, even some completely outside of metal itself. There’s so much to list that we like to say, for Skullcrush at least, that we are influenced by the countries of Sweden, Finland, and England when it comes to death metal, grind, and raw punk influences.
5.Some members of Skullcrush have another proyect paralell?
Every member of Skullcrush has ties to other bands and projects. More notable ones include Woundvac, Sovereign, Röntgen, and Savage Necromancy.
6.Explain some more about the actual rotten death metal scene from your city and recommend some bands.
Underground metal in general has been kicking ass in Arizona the last couple of years, I don’t think there’s specifically a death metal scene rather than a collective of good metal bands that range from death, thrash, black, and grind that form our scene into a cohesive group. Pretty much every show we’ve played has been a mixed bill of bands that have different sounds but are similarly raw and share the same crowds, which makes for awesome gigs. Check out Heinous, Bloodlust, Languish, and Feretory.
7.Skullcrush knows death metal scene of South America?
Definitely, I really fuck with Mortem who happen to also be from Peru, though I’d say we are more into the black and war metal scenes of South America, Goatpenis is played almost weekly, and I also dig Grave Desecrator and Slaughtbbath.
8.Stuff avaliable of Skullcrush at the moment? where death metal maniacs can find the stuff?
Currently our EP can be purchased through Redefining Darkness Records in North America/Western Hemisphere, and also through Raw Skull Recordz in Europe/Eastern Hemisphere.
9.Morbid future plans?
Our new record is finished and will be released in the fall of this year through Raw Skull/Redefining Darkness. We don’t play many shows but will have a few lined up to coincide with the record release. Only time will tell what happens next.
10.Last words and thanks for your time in this interview! Keep sick!
Thank you for reaching out to us.
Death Metal Victory!
1.Loud greetings of Perú,mate! How going the things in Surfer James?
Yo! Things are excellent! We took a little break for a couple months but we’re back at it now. Wrote two new songs tonight actually. We have a ton of gigs lined up through the end of 2019 and planning some cool shit for 2020. Hopefully hitting the road a bunch. Bone daddy approved!
2.Tell us how is form this raw band of fast powerviolence called Surfer James? Hows been the begings?
When we started jamming it was more of a hardcore band with blast beats. It took us a few months to hone in our “sound”.
3.Noisy discography of Surfer James?
Hell yeah brother!! We have two demo releases within the last year which are on bandcamp.
4.Influences at Surfer James?
Repulsion, S-21, Wound Man, Despise You, Crossed Out. Anything hardcore, powerviolence, grind inspired. We all listen to Prince too. Shout out to Moris Day and the Time though. We watch VH1 classics while we jam. Cause why not?
5.Some members of Surfer James have another project parallel?
Yea, our guitar player and drummer are in a hardcore band called Bleacher Creature.
6.Explain some more about the actual fast hardcore powerviolence scene from your city and recommend some bands.
Uncle Ray is a cool band from Windsor that we’ve played a few shows with. Shroud, Girth, and Shit Life are excellent current bands from the Michigan area. Steamroller (RIP) was sick too! There is a great local hardcore scene as well.
7.Surfer James knows fast hardcore powerviolence scene of Southamerica?
Not much, but we want to! We do love Ratos de Porao and Errante (they did a split with our homies In Uncle Ray)
8.Stuff avaliable of Surfer James at the moment? where punxs can find the stuff?
You can find our tunes and merch on bandcamp under painters tapes out of Detroit or knochen tapes out of Europe.
https://surferjames.bandcamp.com/
9.Morbid future plans?
Playing shows, fighting racism and ignorance, hopefully a South American tour.
10.Last words and thanks for your time in this interview! PLAY FAST OR DIE!
Thanks for the interview and your interest in us. Blastbeats are free. Powerviolence is the only violence we support.
