Interview - Hetze

1.Loud greetings of Perú,Eva! How going the things at Hetze?
Hey Daniel! We are great! Last year was incredible! We had awesome gigs in Belgium, The Netherlands, Barcelona and Germany! We met a lot of cool people and our split with Dismalfucker is on its way!!

2.Tell us how is form this destructive band of raw and fast hardcore called Hetze? Hows been the begings?
Dorien (bass) and Caroline (guitar) wanted to start a band together. They asked me to join on vocals, and Viktor (drummer) wanted to do something else than metal.  We started rehearsing june 2017 and had our first gig march 2018.

3.Chaotic discography of Hetze?
The Bedbugs 12” came out in september 2018. The second press just came out on pink vinyl!  Our next release is a split with Dismalfucker from Germany, it will be released this fall on Loner Cult Records and Spastic Fantastic Records.

4.Twisted influences at Hetze?
Most songs are written on banana cake! We are influenced by a lot of things but banana chocolate cake beats them all! Our biggest fan is a teckel dog, so we made her our logo. We love cats too! I think you can say we love animals a lot, that’s why we write so many songs about them!

5.Some members of Hetze have another proyect paralell?
Our drummer Viktor plays drums in Bones, a Belgian death metal band. Check it out, they are really good.
Dorien plays bass in d-beat band called Arrogänt, they just started but gonna kick ass for sure.

6.Eva explain some more about actual fast hardcore scene from your city and recommend some bands.
The reigning band in fast hardcore in Belgium is Reproach after 20 years. There is no band in Belgium who are still killing it after so many years. But we have some newer bands too which you really need to check out. There is Haemers, Permanent Debt, Travölta, Raw Peace, Gagged, Slavemaker, B. Polar and the Spacefuckers, Toxic Shock, Diss Guy, … And I am naming just a few. For such a small country we have quite some active bands. And new ones are on their way! So keep an eye on Belgium!
O damn, i forgot to mention Agathocles haha.

7.Hetze knows fast hardcore scene of Southamerica?
We played together with Muro in Ghent. I saw them a couple of times on their European tour last year. Their concerts gave me goosebumps! I think Colombia has a lot of cool bands, Abuso and Amanazas really killed it at K town hardcore fest. Don’t really know bands from Peru, so let me know which bands I need to check out!

8.Stuff avaliable of Hetze at the moment? where punxs can find the stuff?
We have shirts, LPs, totebags! Send us a message! Or come to our shows!
LPs are available at Loner Cult Records, Emergence Records, Up the Punx records, Fucking Kill records, Zas Autoproduzioni Records.

9.Morbid future plans?
We are really excited to have some shows in september with Despise You and Trappist in Amsterdam and Antwerp. We also have some cool shows coming up in Germany with Ringworm and we are playing the Grind Here, Right Now fest. We are writing new songs and we have some plans for touring in 2020!

10.Last words Eva and thanks for your time in this interview! Regards!
Start a band, write zines, organise shows and support eachother! Take care! Thanks!

Interview - Bifid Corpse

1.Greetings of morbidity from Perú,Zack! How going the things at Bifid Corpse?
Hello to you as well, things are good! Constantly working on new music and just released a new EP with another one in the final recording stages.

2.Hows been the begings of deadly noisy at Bifid Corpse?
Well, Bifid Corpse is a two-piece from Lake County, IL (just north of Chicago) and it started sometime in 2014 or 2015 when myself and Kyle Corpse were in a punk band called FACEPLANT. One day he just decided that we should do a two-piece death metal band together and the rest was history.

3.Gruesome discography of Bifid Corpse?
As of right now, we have 3 EPs. We released our first EP/demo in July of 2016 called "Dead & Decaying". After many hiccups with recording and a bunch of bullshit, we finally released our 2nd EP in March of 2018 entitled "Enter the Corpse". Our latest EP, "Consuming Death" was originally intended to be a split with UK-based grind band GOREHEAD. They decided to break up and we were still gonna release it as a split but said fuck it when another band we were in the works of recording a split for called RABID PEAK from upstate NY also decided to break up. I highly recommend checking both bands out though as they will grind your face to the fucking bone.

4.Influences of impalement at Bifid Corpse?
I never really like this question because we both have so many individual music and creative influences. As a band however, I would say our biggest influences are Mammoth Grinder and Conan. Mortician plays a big part as well but in general, we are just influenced by grind, death metal, punk and all the bull shit extreme metal we listen to.

5.Some members of Bifid Corpse have another proyect paralell?
Kyle Corpse, our guitarist has had some solo project stuck in mind that he's been working on but currently plays in no other bands. I'm currently in a couple of Milwaukee based bands called BLACK CANVAS and FALTER. Plenty of other music endeavors are in both of our minds however.

6.Zack explain some more about actual rotten grind death scene from your city and recommend some bands.
We both come from small suburban towns between Chicago and Milwaukee. In our immediate vicinity, I don't see many bands coming out anymore as far as our general sound goes. This really causes us to have to travel those two cities which isn't bad though because their are plenty of bands there. I imagine this is a good time to plug all of our favorite local friends (most of which still really don't sound like us but hey, its all music). Check out BORN BACKWARDS, DEATHRUN, and PARALYZE. You know I also have to plug the out of town homies like PISSING MATCH and WEED DEMON!

7.Bifid Corpse knows rotten grind death scene of Southamerica?
I can't speak for Kyle, but I'm not to familiar with much from South America but what I can tell you is that Max Cavalera is GOD and I speak for Kyle on that one as well knowing that he is one of his biggest influences and does do some influencing for Bifid Corpse's music.

8.Stuff avaliable of Bifid Corpse at the moment? where death grind maniacs can find the stuff?
Go to DISSONANT SOCIETY and buy a tape and shirt!
All of our music can be streamed and downloaded for free on our Bandcamp [http://bifidcorpse.bandcamp.com], as well as streamed on all the shit like Spotify and Apple Music. You can even add our music to your Instagram story and all that stupid shit, so definitely go do that. Otherwise our first two EPs and a couple music videos can be found on SLAM WORLDWIDE's Youtube page and our latest "Consuming Death" can be found on the GORE GRINDER Youtube page.

9.Pestilent future plans at Bifid Corpse?
We have tons of material written and ideas for merch and videos and all that jazz but that will all come in due time. Currently, we are in the final stages of recording a new EP with the amazing ADRIAN KOBZIAR at WALL OF SOUND RECORDINGS in Chicago, IL.

10.Last words Zack and thanks for your time in this interview! Keep deadly!
Thank you for having me! Check out those bands I mentioned above and be on the lookout for more bludgeoning bullshit from Bifid Corpse.

Interview - Deathrun

1.Violent greetings from Perú,Cameron! How going the things at Deathrun?
Hi and greetings from the krokodyl capital of Illinois known as Joliet! Things in Deathrun have been fantastic so far. We have been A band for less than A year and A half and this month alone we are playing with some bands that are hugely influential to us. Bands such as INFEST, Bastard Noise, Sick/Tired, to name a few. As well as making our first ever east coast appearance at MASS GRINDVIOLENCE Fest in Rhode Island. At this point in time for four nobodies from A suburb of Chicago, we couldn't be happier.

2.Hows been the bestiality begings at Deathrun?
Deathrun started out like any typical success story, An opposition for the (at the time) current musical climate in our hometown, A laundry list of ex drummers and A mountain of dead beers. In reality...the band started after we kicked out our last drummer after finding our perfect match in Nate (who was attempting to record us at the time). When he joined the band, he learned and recorded 11 songs that myself, our guitarist Dylan and bassist Steve had been sitting on.... IN A WEEK! Which to this day has made the band what it is. Leading right up to our first real show as the four piece that you see here. Needless to say it's been downhill ever since.

3.Aberrant discography of Deathrun?
Our discography is as follows;
. 4 song demo

. "Self Titled" 11 song EP

. "Split with SPEAK"

. "Split with SUICIDEFORCE"

. "Split with JEFFREY DONGER"

All of which can be found on our bandcamp page at deathrun.bandcamp.com
And we may have some more cool stuff in the works for the near future if people haven't given up on us by that point.

4.Influences of devastation at Deathrun?
I could go on all day about this one...BUT to keep it short (ish), we all come from very diverse musical backgrounds. From Mr. Bungle and The Toy Dolls, To Dead Kennedys and Crossed Out. Or Entombed and Sabbath to Whitney Houston and The Locust, all of it has its place in the Deathrun formula. The 90's / early 00's Chicago scene plays a huge hand. Bands like Los Crudos, MK-Ultra, Sin Orden, Weekend nachos, The Repos to name a couple. Same goes for the Original West coast Powerviolence scene. We REALLY like fast music. Also, this may come as a surprise to some people but we are kinda into Charles Bronson.

5.Some members of Deathrun have another proyect paralell?
Yikes....okay so funny story, I had booked this hardcore/grind show in Chicago last winter and Deathrun was supposed to play. For reasons I don't remember anymore Dylan (guitarist) couldn't play it, but the other 3 of us still wanted to play. Whilst at a sports store next to the staples we were making CD covers at, we made A joke about having A hockey themed band and we all would play in goalie pads n shit. That Joke (minus the padding) turned into stanXmikita. which was myself, nate and Steve doing about 10 minutes of 100% improvised powerviolence. It was great. Now imagine that same concept but instead of Steve there, Dylan is. With that you've got our other "side project" billXpaxton. I dare you to guess what that band is themed after.

6.Cameron explain some more about actual grindcore powerviolence fastcore scene from your city and recommend some bands.
The scene in Chicago right now is amazing. But one of the issues with it is that most people and especially those outside of the Midwest have no idea that it's happening. But I can assure you, we out here. And every band in the Midwest right now would give any coastal band a run for their money. If you want the best of the best look up this list of bands;
Shrivel Up: (A new blazing fast grind band from Central Illinois and Chicago featuring members of STYE)
Born Backwards: ( Two piece gore grind masters featuring members of SELF HATE and OCCULAR LEECH INFESTATION)
SPEAK: (Chicago's answer to Crossed Out, we did a split with them and their side rules, you should go find it)
Martha's got a limp wrist: (Blasting gory mince worship with a nasty punk attitude, they're our sisters and we love them)
Thisishowitendedintokyo: (emoviolence from hell. If iwrotehaikusaboutcannibalisminyouryearbook and cap n jazz had a baby that was baptised in the blood of Midwest emo they would be it. Also they're basically our little brothers)
We wish there were more fastcore bands! if you or A loved one decide to start A fastcore band, let us know so we can play every show together. I want to note; they're not Chicago but you should also listen to Jeffrey Donger, The Voice Of God, Suicideforce, The Seeker and ShitLife.

7.Deathrun knows grindcore powerviolence fastcore scene of Southamerica?
Yes but not as much as I wish I knew..
Chulo is a sick and insanely fast powerviolence band from Colombia that I really enjoy!

8.Stuff avaliable of Deathrun at the moment? where noisy maniacs can find the stuff?
We currently have all of our records up for free digitally via Bandcamp. You can stream our last split record on the Vinod Karki channel via youtube and then we have cassettes out via Slaughterhouse Records and can be found on the F.O.A.D Records site. Our split with Jeffrey Donger will be out soon on tape and CD, Check our Facebook for More info on that.

9.Morbid future plans at Deathrun?
Hopefully keep getting to play cool shows with cool bands we love and hang with awesome people. May have a couple splits in the works. At some point we plan on doing a full length album that will be obscenely dense with blast beats and Simpsons samples. Get your ibuprofen ready.

10.Last words Cameron and thanks for your time in this interview! Keep loud!
CALL THE HAMMER.
Ain't no laws when you drinking claws baby.
What the fuck is fastcore?
The posers will have their day.
"Life is all about speed....hot, nasty, badass speed"
Raise hell praise Dale
It's Van Halen not Van Hagar
Anyway......Thank you so much for having me and giving me the chance to do what I'm all too good at...talking too much.
Also Thank you to everyone who listens to us or thinks we are cool for some reason, coming out to the shows or buying merch. All of the support and love means the world to us and we can express enough gratitude. And remember kids, Its the fastest who gets paid...and the fastest who gets laid.
Just say no to slow.
